Shuwa


Shuwa is Omani food. it prepared only on every special occasion . The most special occasion is Eid. There are different method of preparing shuwa but the common one is the meat is marinated with spices after that it rapped in sack made of dry plam leaves or banana leaves. next that these sacks are thrown into the underground sand oven. some place they cooked the shuwa in 24 hours, but in other place they cooked the shuwa in 48 . They think its better . After that served with rice or with other things.
